Eleni Aristodemou (University of Cyprus) – Head Organizer

Eleni is a Lecturer (tenure-track) at the Department of Economics of the University of Cyprus. Her research fields are Theoretical and Applied Econometrics and Applied Industrial Organization. Her research to date has focused on semiparametric identification in cross sectional and panel data discrete response models. She was awarded a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellowships for the years 2021-2024. She received her PhD in Economics from UCL in 2016 and held an Assistant Professor position in the Amsterdam School of Economics, University of Amsterdam, before joining the University of Cyprus in 2020.

Maurice Bun (De Nederlandsche Bank and University of Amsterdam)

Maurice is the Head of the Research Department at the central bank of The Netherlands and an Associate Professor of Econometrics at the University of Amsterdam. His research interests lie in the areas of econometric theory and applied econometrics. He received a number of grants from the Netherlands Organization for Scientific Research, including two MAGW Open Competition grants and a VIDI grant. He obtained his PhD in 2001 from the University of Amsterdam.

Artūras Juodis (University of Amsterdam)

Artūras is an Assistant Professor of Econometrics at the University of Amsterdam. His research interests include theoretical and applied panel data econometrics. He was awarded a VENI Grant from the Netherlands Organization for Scientific Research for the years 2018-2022. He obtained his PhD in Economics from the University of Amsterdam in 2015 and held an Assistant Professor position in the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Groningen, before joining the University of Amsterdam in 2020.

Tom Wansbeek (University of Groningen)

Tom is an Emeritus Professor of Statistics and Econometrics at the University of Groningen. He studied econometrics at the University of Amsterdam and obtained his PhD at the University of Leiden in 1980. He was the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Amsterdam (2007-2010) and of the Faculty of Economics, University of Groningen (2001-2007). His research interests are in the fields of econometrics, psychometrics, linear algebra, statistics and marketing. He was or is a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Econometrics, the Journal of Applied Econometrics and Econometric Reviews. He is the Scientific Committee Coordinator of the International Panel Data Conferences series.
